About
A small company that does floors and nothing else.
Pro Hardwood Floors Inc. is a family business run by Mike Nguyen out of Lynnfield, Massachusetts. Decades of hardwood and luxury vinyl, installation and refinishing, across Greater Boston and New England. No tile, no carpet, no kitchens. Floors.

How we work
Mike quotes the job. Mike is on the job.
Most flooring companies send a salesperson to measure and a crew you have never met to do the work. The person who promised you a flat floor and a clean house is not the person holding the sander.
Mike Nguyen has been installing and refinishing floors for decades, and Pro Hardwood Floors is still a family business.
Here, the person who walks your house, listens to what you want and writes the quote is the same person who shows up on the first morning with the crew. If something comes up under the carpet or behind the baseboard, you hear about it from him, that day, with a price.
We keep the company small on purpose. One crew, one job at a time, finished before the next one starts.
What you can hold us to
Four things every job gets
ONE
A written quote, line by line
Material, labor, prep, stairs, transitions and disposal on separate lines, within two business days of the visit. If the scope changes, the price changes on paper before the work does.
TWO
The conversation before the quote
Before anything is measured, Mike asks what you want from the floor, what bothers you about the one you have, and what you are worried about: the dust, the dog, a deadline, the budget. The quote is written to that.
THREE
Dust containment on every sanding machine
Drum sander, edgers and buffer all on HEPA containment, doorways sealed, returns covered. Not an upgrade. Not an extra line.
FOUR
A walk-through when it is cured
We come back after the furniture is in and walk the floor with you. Anything you see, we fix. Then you get the care sheet: which cleaner, which pads, when to call for a recoat.
ALSO
A family business
Mike Nguyen has been doing floors for decades and the company is still family-run. The number on this site rings his phone.
AND
Straight answers
If your floor is on its last sanding, if vinyl is the smarter choice for the basement, if the stain you want will blotch on maple: you hear it at the estimate, not after the deposit.

Where we work
Lynnfield, the North Shore, and out from there.
We are on the North Shore, so most days we are in Lynnfield, Wakefield, Reading, Peabody, Danvers, Beverly, Marblehead and Andover. Boston, Cambridge, Brookline, Newton and the towns inside 128 are a normal drive.
For the right project we go further: MetroWest, the South Shore, Cape Cod, Southern New Hampshire, Southern Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut. A whole-house refinish or a new build is worth the drive; a single-room recoat in Hartford probably is not, and we will say so.
